FAQ
-
When should I RSVP by?
We kindly ask that you RSVP by March 19 in order to ensure you are accounted for. The sooner the better!
-
Is there a dress code?
This is a black-tie event - meaning midi/floor-length gowns for women and formal suits or tuxedos for men.
This is your excuse to wear the bold, funky dress you’ve been dying to go out in. Nothing is off limits - feathers, sequins, patterns - bring it!
-
Is this an indoor or outdoor event?
A short 30 minute ceremony will be held outside. The cocktail hour and reception will be held inside the hotel.
-
Is there parking for the ceremony and reception?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the same location, South Congress Hotel.
We strongly encourage rideshare options such as Uber or Lyft, especially if you will be enjoying a few cocktails.
Otherwise, there is street parking on South Congress or you may utilize the hotel valet for a cost of $25/car.
-
Can I bring my kids or a plus one?
Due to limited capacity, we ask that only those listed on the invitation attend our wedding.
Although we love your little ones, this will be an adult-only event. We hope you can use this evening as an excuse to get out and have a date night.
-
What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
As the ceremony begins at 5:30, we’d encourage you to arrive at 5:15 to grab a seat. If you plan to self-park on South Congress, allow extra time to find a spot as Saturdays are extra busy.
-
What if I have an allergy or dietary restrictions?
Dinner will be served family style at seated tables. If you have an allergy or dietary restriction, we can arrange a special plated meal for you if you let us know ahead of time.
-
If I am coming in from out of town, where should I stay?
For your convenience, we have a discounted hotel block at South Congress Hotel, where both the ceremony and reception take place.
You can find more details and lodging alternatives here.
In addition to the hotels listed, Austin has a great selection of Airbnb options that are worth checking out.

Where are y'all honeymooning?
The day after the wedding, we’re headed off for two weeks in Bali!
